Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren has been airlifted to Delhi AIIMS after suffering a serious brain injury at his residence. The news has caused concern across the state and Soren is still under intense surveillance.
According to official sources, Ramdas Soren slipped and fell at his home in Jamshedpur on Sunday evening. The fall left him with a serious head injury and internal bleeding in the brain. He was first taken to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi, where doctors said his condition was stable, but advised him to be taken to Delhi immediately for special treatment.
A special air ambulance was arranged and Soren was taken to Delhi AIIMS late Sunday night. Medical experts described his condition as “serious but stable” and he is currently being monitored by a team of neurosurgeons.
