Jharkhand’s Tallest Leader Shibu Soren Passes Away at 80

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed condolences in the state

Shibu Soren’s son and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed deep sorrow over the demise of his father. In an emotional statement, Hemant said, “Baba was not only a father, but a guiding force for our people. His entire life was dedicated to the rights and dignity of tribals and marginalized people.”

The state government has declared three days of mourning. All government offices and educational institutions will remain closed on the day of his funeral. Thousands of party workers and supporters have gathered at the Soren residence in Ranchi to pay tribute to him.
